Surgery Complete
I honestly can say that in the 3 years of my ongoing chronic illness, what was the clusterfuck of last Friday, that for once, I think I am finally getting relief. Friday started out in a blur as usual… Woke up in a lot of pain, my vision was starting to get blurry again. I… Continue reading Surgery Complete
Another surgery
So since my last post, I had a followup appointment with my ENT, and wow, finally convinced him there is still a lingering issue in my sinuses. From my previous post, I had mentioned that I had a PET scan done. From the results of the PET scan, the infection that was seen on the… Continue reading Another surgery
A much needed update
Wow… time flies. My last post was this past summer, and much has happened. From the summer I continually dealt with an unknown infection in my face. In & out of ER’s again. Scans. Doctors that don’t listen. In September I chose to knock out the remaining teeth in my jaw, and get implants. The… Continue reading A much needed update
MRI & CT Results
Just a quick update. The MRI didn’t show anything of interest, however, the CT showed that my parotid gland is still enlarged and the lymph nodes are also still enlarged. I see a new ENT next week to hopefully address that. Me
Update on issues

My immunologist did increase my IVIg dosage to 50g, so hopefully that will help some. I saw my ENT 2 weeks… Continue reading Update on issues
Whirlwind of Doctors Once Again
Ok. Now I have more time to write. Starting about 3 weeks ago, the proverbial shit hit the fan again with my health. My mouth. For fucks sake. It won’t end. Near the end of May, my mouth was just hurting. The swallowing issues returned. The burning mouth. Everything is coming back again. Since I… Continue reading Whirlwind of Doctors Once Again
A long overdue blog post
I’m really sorry that I haven’t had more time to do this lately, as things seem to be spinning back out of control again. I’m back out on short term disability again… Things have gotten worse with my face and my neck. For starters, I’ve lost 2 more teeth. The upper tooth (#15) was removed… Continue reading A long overdue blog post
Ongoing Problems
With Fred out, the majority of the pain and discomfort and overall shittiness I was feeling is gone for the most part. Prior to the surgery, I have been complaining to my ENT about swallowing issues and swelling in the left portion of my face/jaw/neck. This has been a recurring problem that just won’t go… Continue reading Ongoing Problems
IVIg infusion #4 & Frustration
Woke up really early this morning for some odd reason. Unfortunately, I met my wife in the bathroom and she said “I’m running a fever.” I somewhat panicked. “I won’t be able to stay here then” I said to her. So I am crashing at my alternative life partners place until my wife can get… Continue reading IVIg infusion #4 & Frustration
