As an expected, I was released from Swedish today at 12p.
Aggie picked me up, and took me to infectious disease where we were both trained on on how to access my port, since I will be doing constant antibiotics
With my port accessed, I was given all the antibiotics until next week. I will be on everything for the next 6 weeks.
Got all of my appointments set for Thursday to change my port needle, as well as follow-ups to happen with Rebecca at the same time.
Since our apartment is a hazard, we are staying at a nearby hotel. I drove my car from the apartment to the hotel.
The cats were so excited to see me, and the feeling was mutual. I missed them so much. I fed them lunch, and now I’m going to take a well deserved nap. It’s been a very long, and hard week.
I still need the poconazole to be filled. So I am waiting for Walgreens to call so we can pick it up.
I’ll write more later, but at least I’m “home”.
