Hopefully Heading Home Today

Didn’t sleep at all last night. Someone must have touched my bed yesterday (wasn’t me). On the outer panel you can set restrictions on what the bed can do, so someone turned on the restriction where I couldn’t lay down more than 35 degrees. So pissed off last night, I finally took a look at the panel, pushed the button, and boom, restriction gone.

So stupid. The nurse I had last night was pretty useless. Wanted to argue about the stupidest of things. I’m glad the day nurse is back. She’s pretty awesome.

The Hospitalist stopped in this morning. Confirmed that the Vancomycin will be ready for pickup @ 1pm today, so I’ll be discharged around 12:30 – 12:45pm today. Infectious disease is next to Porter hospital, which is about 10 minutes away from Swedish.

Lastly, I asked her for another dose of Ketamine before I leave. It calmed me down yesterday, made the pain go away. She agreed. But she said she would have to put it in now, as I can’t get it if I’m going home or the discharge is started, so shes gonna slide it through.

I’m just glad this place is finally paying attention to me. I’ll post more later.

Just a quick update this time.
