You’d think by now that all this shit that I’ve been dealing with is fixed. Or healed. In some way shape or form. It’s not.
It’s getting worse.
I saw Hepworth 4 weeks ago. A week prior to that I had an MRI. Hepworth found several things on the mri that the radiologist missed. Not sure if the guy just overlooked things or if people are really that checked out. Hepworth ran labs to look at my thyroid and Vit D. I knew my Vit D was gonna be low, but the one lab for thyroid antibodies is through the fucking roof.
I explained to Hepworth that my sinuses and face and jaw just hurts. He agreed there was a problem. And my anxiety is starting to build on what he’s gonna say. I do trust home, it’s just this is painstakingly just taking way too much time to figure out. I know he’s a busy guy, but fuck man.
Of course after that appointment the downward spiral continued. I have been seeing Schleve again every 2 weeks for kenalog injections. And fucking herpes. Jesus. This shit is just everywhere on my face. It’s so fucking painful to deal with. I moved my appointment for shots because I wasn’t feeling good. I was starting to run a low grade fever. After my appointment things got bad. As I sat at home with the wife as she was sick too. Earlier in the week I took her to the Dr for COVID test, and she was negative. However, as the day progressed, so did my fever.
Holy shit I haven’t had one of these since the tumor removal. But by noon, things got… scary. I sat on the couch just taking my temp often. I saw it go from 100F to 105F. The scary part was I got weak. Like I couldn’t stand or walk. I made the call to leave after a team call. I felt like death. As I got to the car, I was hitting 106F. And I was nauseated. I didn’t feel good at all.
COVID. Was admitted for 5 days. Holy shit it’s still lingering. At least I got a day of vancomycin.
As to my face and neck and jaw. It still hurts. Swelling. The lump under my tongue. Fuck. Never in a thousand years would have I even imagined that this is how the “good” years were going to be for me.
How come I’m always getting the short end of the deal?
