Lots of Updates

Time flies when you’re not having fun. To piggyback off of my last post, my face continues to hurt, and my neck.

Ever since my heart attack my back has not felt right. At all. Way at the bottom. It was always aching. Well this past month, things changed. Pain started to radiate towards my left hip. It feels like a burning / electrical sensation. So I got the heating pad out. Soon after that, my gait issues came back. I wrote it off as pressure changes and the lack of a middle ear. Man I was wrong.

My left leg periodically would just lock up. From my knee all the way to my tailbone. It felt like it was locked. But that electrical/burning sensation was telling me something else is going on. About 3 days after that my middle back (which has always ached after my heart attack), started to radiate a pulsing pain. From the left side. This sensation would fire off everytime I would twist, bend over, essentially any motion that included my lower back.

I also started to notice this lump/bump across my left hip to my tailbone area. I could move it around but boy it hurt when you moved it. Aggie started using our percussion gun on my back almost every night. Would give me the best back rubs. After that I would use this CBD ointment I got for pain relief for my upper neck.

A week later, everything went south. On top of the symptoms I mentioned, I’m now getting the electrical/burning pulses from my tailbone all the way down to my left toe. Which quickly transitioned into, I can’t feel my left toe at all. Just numb. I could move it, but I couldn’t feel it.

This quickly progressed into all my toes, shortly after, my entire left leg from my upper thigh to my foot. Numb. Tingly at times. Aggie continued to use the gun, and back rubs, but something wasn’t right.

So I have a lot of Methocarbamol leftover, so I started that back up. 1500mg every 4 hours. On top of that, I would crack a 5mg tablet of Valium in half, and use that on top of the Dilaudid as well. This only brings temporary relief, and an awful amount of drowsy mess. Then the pain patches.

Nothing was working. That lump is starting to hurt more and more everyday. So I texted my Chiropractor’s office and got an immediate appointment the next day.

I told Dr. Lovett what’s been going on, and asked him if we could X-Ray my back. To not my surprise. It’s bad. Really bad.

Great. Well that explains it. Most likely L1’s disc is herniated, and that’s why my symptoms are so bad.

The past 2 weeks have been pure hell. Every adjustment he did, hurt like nothing I’ve ever felt before.

Every day it just gets worse. It’s unclear if the adjustments are working or not.

This next week is big. I’m back @ Mayo Clinic again. I am seeing an expert immunologist that specializes in infectious disease, immunology, and weird stuff. Normally it takes 2-3 years to get into her. Dr. Divekar, my immunologist @ Mayo got me in fast. With the genetic results changing, the black mold exposure. My continued illnesses. Something else is going on.

Aggie and I drove 14 hours. We just got to our hotel. I drove for maybe 2 hours and just couldn’t do it. My leg went full numb. My back was on fire. She drove basically the entire time.

I’ll update this again when I know more next week. The appointment is on Monday.

I also had a large cyst removed from my right leg 2 weeks ago too. And the past 3 days the surgical site has felt weird. To no surprise, there’s another sore coming in close it it. Probably related to what’s going on in my back.

This just doesn’t feel right. At all.
