Still Fighting

This morning I woke up at 5am. For once my mouth wasn’t on fire. Yet, I’m still throwing fevers between 101-103. As I sat up out of bed, I felt this sludge between my eyes, and my cheeks. As I got up, I had to run to the bathroom, it just started to come out. It was like rubber cement. Dark yellowish crap. I gently blew, and then what I think was another polyp came out, then the flood gates opened.

I hung my head over the sink bleeding for a solid 5 minutes. My sinuses were just on fire at this point. The yellowish stuff continued to come out, along with bright red blood. I kept my head low, and just gently blew until I got most of this yellowish crud out. I jammed 2 wads of toilet paper up my nose so I wouldn’t bleed everywhere.

The cats were excited I was awake, because normally that means its breakfast for them. Unfortunately, I needed to take care of this. I mixed 2 sinus rinse bottles, but I had a better idea this time. I’ll make 1 bottle with 2 packets, and just distilled water, and then the other bottle same thing, but add the capsule of Amphotercin. Mix them both up in the usual way, but instead of just using the bottles, lets use this fancy new sinus rinse pump I got last month. I didn’t really start using it since we were going to be moving anyway.

I ran the normal saline bottle through the pump first, and the yellow gunk just kept coming out. This stuff was everywhere. I could feel it everywhere. After the tank was empty, I then added the 2nd bottle with the Amphotercin, and even more came out. Thankfully the bleeding stopped. After the rinses, I felt way better. I wait about 30 minutes, then I have to use this Budesonide capsule, load it up into a syringe, and then shoot it through this device that basically turns it into a mist. This immediately cools down everything. God I felt so much better afterwards.

I had to feed the cats quick, and get ready. Today I needed to go Health Images to get the MRI’s done that Hepworth wanted me to hold off on. Overnight, it snowed pretty significantly, we probably got about 4 inches of snow. Thankfully, the place that I was going to was literally 10 minutes away. I’m just glad there was really nobody on the roads at the time I left. I got there, and they called me back right away. It took 2 hours to do the MRI’s needed, as they did 2 different ones. Honestly, I fell asleep for most of it. What else was I going to do? LOL

After the MRI’s were done, I texted Hepworth that the MRI’s were done, and I headed home. When I got home, I started getting calls from the moving company confirming the move for tomorrow, after that, the delivery company called me about the couch that was delivered, and that she worked out a delivery for tomorrow between 10am-2pm, from their real actual employees, and not subcontractors. She told me that they will disassemble the couch, and remove it, and deliver the new one, and get it all setup, for free. She also said to not tip them as this was their fault, so I said ok. She then said that she would be sending me a gift card once the couches have been swapped. I went online to check to see if the boxspring was still good to go, but noticed that somehow, I ordered the wrong one.

I called Mattress Firm, and got that fixed, so the correct one will be coming tomorrow.

Needless to say, tomorrow is going to be an extremely hectic day. I spent most of the day just trying to sleep as much as I could, as I know tomorrow, I’ll need to be ready to go by 8am, and have all my antibiotics done.

I texted a friend to confirm that he will be picking up the grill tomorrow at 8am. As Anies will be at the old apartment steering the moving people, and I’ll be here steering them where to put stuff. I told Anies to move the grill first so my friend can pick it up and take off. The moving company will also be throwing out the couch, bed, and the boxspring, along with any other linen item that was in the living room

But then also mix in the two deliveries and the couch swap, this is going to just be a long day no matter which way I look at it. But hopefully by the end of tomorrow, we are done with that nightmare of an apartment.

The plan will be to get up the next morning, collect our keys, mail keys, parking passes, and the entrance fob and place them in an envelope and simply just drop them off at the old leasing office. All I am going to say is here is the keys for our apartment, hand them the envelope, and walk out. Say nothing more.

After Anies got off of work, another friend of mine helped move the final fragile stuff. The TV, my monitor, and the TV stand. Again, I don’t want them breaking anything during the move, realistically its just a few items such as a desk, dresser, a few heavy boxes, the spare bedroom bed/frame, and just some large misc items Anies wasn’t able to fit in her Jeep.

Anies has just moved the remaining items from the apartment, so the movers really won’t have much to put in their truck.

I did the same sinus rinse technique tonight, with the same result. So if I stay diligent at doing this, maybe I’ll be able to clear all this out by next month as far as the gunk goes. I’ll have to see what Hepworth wants to do based off of the MRI’s that were done today.

I’m so glad this is almost over with. We are almost in a safe place. I can t wait to start feeling better soon, the cats have much more energy now, and when Anies isn’t exposed to that toxic wasteland, I’m sure her asthma will go away.

Tomorrow I see Dr. Sarid for a letter regarding mold and my CVID, and I’m gonna have home get me a good inhaler with a steroid to help push this shit out of my lungs. It’s not COPD. It’s gotta be fungal.

More tomorrow.
