Out of Energy

A friend and I stopped by the apartment this morning to grab a bunch of stuff from the old apartment. Mainly just my bathroom stuff, and whatever was light. No more than being in the apartment for 5 minutes, I started coughing, gagging, and it felt like I was covered in fire ants.

Luckily, I have a 3M PAPR system I bought when COVID hit. So basically anytime I go into the old apartment, I have to wear it.

I also had to grab a few items I have to sell just simply because I’m out of money. Savings is down to $600. I also wasn’t paid today like I should. I did send a message to Sedgwick, and they said they would get my STD approved today. But when I looked at the dates, they had them wrong. So I had to have them fix it before they approved it. About 30 minutes later I got the approval letter that I am approved through 1/2/2024. I just need to figure out if I am going to get paid soon.

We ran to the new apartment after dropping those items off at the UPS Store. I quickly showed her around, and we headed back. As I was walking to the car, it hit me like a ton of bricks.

My body telling me that I overdid it. So I said let’s just go back to your place so I can crash. And crash I did. I texted the wife saying that I wouldn’t be able to get the cats moved tonight, as I overdid it.

After a few text exchanges, I had enough. I got dressed, and my friend and I headed back to the old apartment to get the cats, their litter robot, and whatever else we could grab.

I took off once the cats were loaded in the car, and just said that I’ll see you guys there.

When I got to the new apartment I grabbed everything from the car that I had at my friends house, my medication, and the cats. I’m definitely way over the 20lb limit.

I struggled down the parking ramp. Stopping every 20 steps. Everything hurt at this point. I eventually made it to the new apartment, and let the cats out. They have been running around checking out the new apartment since they got here.

My friend and wife soon arrived, and started bringing in the rest of my bathroom, the coffee maker, and a few other items.

My friend brought his inflatable bed. It’s so comfy. At least I don’t have to sleep on the floor. He set it up and headed home.

I managed to get the shower curtain up in my bathroom, but at this point my body is in full on fuck you mode. I started the Ceftriaxone when my watch told me to. I was just done at this point. It was hard to breathe. My heart hurt.

When Anies was done unloading I told her that I am never going back to that apartment. Not even to climb the stairs. “I’m fucking done.” I can’t do anything else. After today, it’s taught me the lesson of do nothing more. It’s just not worth it.

I am safe, and the cats are safe. I just need Aggie to hurry so we can all be safe soon. It’s all I want for Christmas.

Anies took off shortly after to grab a few more things from the other apartment and she said she will be back.

My xolair came yesterday, but I forgot to do it. So I pulled the syringes out and let them come to room temp. By 9pm, it’s time for Vancomycin, Xolair, and Lovenox.

As I sit here and write this both Athena and Venus are running around the apartment singing the song of their people. I know it’s going to be a hard adjustment for them for a bit, but I know they will come around. Hades has been permanently stuck to me since I laid down in bed. He’s so warm. It was sort of cold in here, so I got up to set the thermostat to 73.

We also have a gas fireplace, so I turned that on too. It feels really empty in here, but I know in time, everything will be here and we will be done with that hazardous wasteland of an apartment.

I’d type more, but I’m just done for today.
